DevBlue Research operates a marketing and informational website that describes our consulting and development services. The Site does not offer user accounts, logins, paid subscriptions, e-commerce, an advertising network, forums, or mobile apps. The only ways we collect personal information are through our contact form, direct correspondence with you, and standard website analytics and server logs. This policy describes those practices and nothing more.
This policy is written for a United States audience and reflects United States privacy law, including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, the "CCPA"). If you are located outside the United States, please do not use the Site or send us personal information.
We collect only the following categories of personal information:
We do not collect Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, financial account or payment card numbers, precise geolocation, biometric information, health information, or any other category of "sensitive personal information" as defined by the CCPA. We ask that you not send us sensitive information through the contact form.

We do not use the information you submit through the contact form to send you marketing email unless you ask us to. We do not engage in automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies, including Google Analytics, to operate the Site and to measure usage. Our Cookie Policy describes the specific cookies we use and how you can control them, including how to opt out of analytics.
If you are a California resident, you have the rights described below. The categories of personal information we collect, the sources we collect it from, and the purposes for which we use it are set out in Sections 2 through 4. In the preceding twelve (12) months we collected the categories of personal information listed in Section 2, and we disclosed identifiers, internet activity, approximate geolocation, and communications content to the service providers listed in Section 5 for the business purposes described in this policy.
We have not sold or shared personal information (as "sell" and "share" are defined by the CCPA) in the preceding twelve (12) months, and we do not do so today.
Subject to certain exceptions, you have the right to:
How to submit a request. Email us at [email protected] or write to us at the address in Section 12. We will confirm receipt and respond within forty-five (45) days; if we need more time (up to another forty-five days) we will tell you why.
Verification. To protect your information, we will verify your identity before acting on a request, generally by matching information you provide (such as the email address you used to contact us) against our records. We will only use information you provide for a request to verify and respond to it.
Authorized agents. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may ask the agent for written permission that you gave them and may still ask you to verify your identity directly.
Opt-out preference signals. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal: if your browser or extension sends one, we automatically turn off analytics for that browser. Because we do not sell or share personal information, there is no sale or sharing to opt out of. You can also change your analytics choice at any time using the "Your Privacy Choices" control in our website footer or the methods described in our Cookie Policy.
We keep contact-form submissions for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and to maintain a record of our correspondence, and then for a reasonable period consistent with our legal and business needs, after which we delete them. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics configuration. We may keep aggregated or de-identified information, which is not personal information, for longer.
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure, or access. These include encryption of data in transit, access controls, and use of reputable service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Site is intended for a business audience and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it.
The Site may link to third-party websites we do not control. This policy does not apply to those websites, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any site you visit.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date above and post the new version on the Site. If we make material changes, we will provide a more prominent notice.
